Some General Info. About Club

Purpose Statement: Our purpose is to gather as Christians of African descnt to celebrate our God given cultures and to enhance the campus through our ethnic diversity. We intend to fulfill this purpose through outreach, education, ministry, and fellowship with the Biola community and the Los Angeles community at large.

Objectives:
-To be an information and education "bank" for Biola faculty and staff.
-To raise the level of self-esteem so that we can be a role bouth in our school and in our community.
-To network with other orginizations geared towards students of African descent.
-To crate unity and increase fellowship amongst the students of African descent.

Goal: To be a source of education and information to campus faculty, staff, and students so that we positively affect and overall change in attitudes and actions with demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awarenss of issues that relate to people of African descent from a Christian perspective.

Let's Talk About The Back 2 School/ Back 2 BASIC Event

So here we can talk about what our exact plans are for the event we are putting on Wed. 23rd. As of right now we are confirmed that we are using the Collegium. We have it saved from 8:00pm-12:00am. I think we should start at 8:3 or9:00pm which gives us time to set-up. So guys should we provide food. If so should it just be snacks or what? What time of ice-breakers should we do. What should be actually do this night? Please give me suggestions. I don't want to plan this on my own, we are a team, but I will if I have to.
